Kinship Foster Parent Registration

Registration for services to families who have Kinship Foster placement of a child(ren) through social services that is not their birth child, through the court, and that is in your full time care.

To qualify for Family Room services you are agreeing that you are the kinship foster parent of the children you have in your full time care. These children's biological birth parents do not live with you or the children, nor do they have custody of them. You are responsible for their full-time care and needs.

Verification of this status will be made through a social worker before an appointment will be confirmed.

Thank you for what you do! We appreciate you so much and we are honored to serve you. Kinship families can receive provisions up to four times per year for the qualifying children in their home.

Description

After registering, kinship foster families can call to make an appointment for their new or existing placements. After an initial appointment at Family Room, kinship families are scheduled to visit Family Room 3 times a year- once for spring, once for fall, and once for winter. Call 336-900-0878 to schedule an appointment.

If you have just received the placement and have immediate needs for the children in your care, please CALL 336-900-0878 and leave us a voicemail. Someone will call you back within an hour to make an appointment to meet you that day. Please do not use other forms of contact for emergency placements, as we do not check messages other than the phone if we are not in the office.
